History

Antioquia occupies a territory of 63,612 km ² bordered on the north by the Caribbean Sea and the department of Cordoba, on the west by the department of Chocó, the east with the departments of Bolivar, Santander and Boyaca, and to the south the departments of Caldas and Risaralda.
In Antioquia territory 6.2999.990 million people currently live in a total of 125 municipalities.
